Love triangles are always miserable. Someone always gets hurt. While one person gets to get his/her cake and eat it, there are two other casualties. Apart from maybe discovering that I guy I like is gay - I can't quite think of anything else that would be more upsetting than to be stuck in a love triangle.

You can ever buy a book at Amazon called Three in Love; Menages a Trois from Ancient to Modern Times written by Barbara Foster, Letha Hadady and Michael Foster - apparently engaged in their own little love triangle. According to the blurb:
