Frog: yup Was not too fussed with it, I fell asleep a few times in it so that made it a bit confusing as I am sure I was missing bits but it just wasn't doing anything really for me, had no sympathy for Betty.
Koala: yeah what a bitch. They didn't develop their relationship enough
Frog: oh yeah
Koala: just didn't feel she cared enough
Frog: I know, he is supposed to be repressed but obviously is hurt by their break up and yeah
Koala: needed more development there. She was supposed to be his whole world, his anchor blah blah
Frog: yeah seeing she first dumped him and then betrayed him
Koala: but Eric Bana wasn't bad. The end fight was stupid
Frog: It just didn't really thrill me, I mean he didn't even say "Hulk Smash!". I didn't really feel sympathy for anyone and did not really thrill at fight sequences, just a big green
Frog: Monster beating things up, though the fight with the tanks part amused me out of the whole sequence where he bends the gun so it
Frog: points to the guy inside the tank. And it was silly here he is raging and then one glance at her and he calms down. No he is a good actor but.... and the "teaser" trailer part was just that, wasn't actually /in/ the film.
Koala: Yeah. The thing with the father was stupid. What was the theme of that movie? Fathers are bad?
Frog: This is what my friend just said about the film "Took itself way too seriously for a movie about someone who puffs up into a glowingly green marshmallow man." I thought it was about don't repress your feelings
