Wow! It seems as though I'm not the only fanatic out there! I am 15 years old and ever since I read Mel a couple of years ago I have been hooked. I have been looking all over for her books and have only found Mel and China Garden.
Do the publishers plan on printing anymore of her books? If not, how can I find a way to buy Easy Connections and Easy Freedom? How can I get in touch with the author?

Please email me at SEB1415@aol.com if any information is available.

Thank you,
Sarah Bachman

Dear Koala,

I would never ask you to lend or let go of your copy of Easy Freedom. However it has been out of print for 12 years. There is a new kind of scanner that reads print-perhaps you could ask permission from the author
and upload it on your site. You'd make a lot of people happy.
Just an idea.

I have read your FAQ and I know that you do not want to lend your books (Easy Connections & Easy Freedom) to anyone [edited]? Libraries do not have them anymore as they always get stolen. Penguin will not re-print. I live in Spain and they do not sell second hand english books here. HELP ME!
Thanks
Karen

Hi, I read your review on amazon and viewed your guest book. Currently, there are four editions in libraries' in the Uk. Three are in England and one is in Dublin. I noticed that one of your guests, Sammy, is from England. He, or she, has no email address listed. Would you please forward my email? I'm hoping that Sammy would check the book out, send it to me, and I'll mail it back. I know, it would taking a lot on faith but I really want to know what happens.
Thanks, Holly

Hi there,
thanks so much for responding so promptly, I guess I am out of luck, I cannot find those books anywhere, i also know that in America 'Easy Connections' is retitled 'LA Seduction' but it is sold out everywhere. My last hope is
Amazon.com they are still to get back to me in the next week or so as to whether they have found a copy.

I'm just curious since it does not look like i shall ever read Easy Freedom (and I cannot access your website from here) do Dev, Cathy and baby live happily ever after?

Hello,
I'm a big fan of Liz Berry, I read Easy Connections about 12 years ago and to this day it is one of my favorite books. I have been trying to find both Easy Connections and its sequel Easy Freedom (which i have not read). I understand
that you have a copy , I am willing to pay up to $200 US dollars for any of these books (even if you have to photo copy them!). Please contact me at [edited] (in florida, USA), you can call collect, my name is Meredith (as you can see I'm quite desparate to get ahold of these books!) Thanks in advance.

Thank you for making this page. I found Easy Connections in a used book
store 3 years ago. I loved the book, so I read Mel and I loved that book too.
When China Garden came out I ran to the store right away and I really liked
that book too. I have been looking for Easy Freedom for 3 years, and I was
really curious about what happened to Cathy, Dev, & Chris.

QUESTIONS
Could you please Email me the name of the publisher, so I can ask them If
they plan to reprint? Also do you know if Liz Berry writes under any other
names? How does Chris punish Claris? Does Cathy sleep with Dev, and if so
was it willingly? Does Cathy sleep with anyone else? Is Cathy let back into
school? Was the baby a boy? What did they name the baby?

Hello

I am desperately trying to locate a copy of the above mentioned book and found your address in part of the online reviews at Amazon.com. I also managed to find you web site but as yet have not read the spoilers although it is rather hard not to. I quite by chance found a 1985 copy of Easy Connections in the $2.50 bin at K-mart years ago and am now half way through reading it for the 5th time.

So the desperate search starts for the sequel which I only discovered recently through looking at Amazon.com actually exists. I've contacted many book searches over the internet, but now have decided to venture back to the good old Sydney Libraries after you mentioned it on your web page.....heres hoping they still have a copy. Thanks for the suggestion.
Charlotte

Hello,

I was recently on Amazon.com and noticed that you have reviewed the
book "Easy Freedom" by Liz Berry! I loved "Easy Connections" -- the
book had a profound effect on me when I first read it 12 years ago!!
I can't believe there is a sequel, my friend and I always wondered
about that because the first book's ending was so open-ended.
Unfortunately, the book is out of print!

I am DESPERATE to get my hands on a copy of this book!!!

Is there any way you can help me? Perhaps you know of a place to get it?

Please respond as soon as you can.

Thank you very much,
Betsy Gemerek

I read your review on Amazon.com for the Liz Berry book Easy Freedom, and
I was just curious about it. If you wouldn't mind I'd like to know if it
is a sequel to Easy Connections, which I thought was a disturbing book--all
the more disturbing because I couldn't put it down. I didn't get the sense
at the end of Easy Connections that Cathy was really interested in a
relationship, so if Easy Freedom is a sequel, I'm kinda curious to see what
happens.

Best Wish,
